Tiger Offshore Rentals Acquires Rigzone Mechanical Equipment (United Arab Emirates) Expanding its Middle Eastern Presence

Abu Dhabi, UAE — Tiger Offshore Rentals (“Tiger”), a leading global provider of transportation and storage equipment to the offshore oil and gas industry, has acquired Rigzone Mechanical Equipment LLC (“Rigzone”), including its manufacturing facility and its fleet of DNV certified offshore cargo carrying units (CCUs) in the United Arab Emirates. The acquisition expands Tiger’s position as the leading provider of offshore rental equipment in the Middle East region and opens the door to the production of specialty equipment needed to meet growing market demand.

Rigzone supplies an impressive array of equipment including DNV 2.7-1 certified offshore cargo carrying equipment, long baskets, frac, storage and mixing tanks along with power and air equipment. Rigzone’s specialty manufacturing facility, supported by its skilled engineering staff, produces a wide selection of equipment including fire rated offshore A60 buildings, as well as other Zone 1 and 2 hazardous area oilfield equipment.
