COMMON USES

A steam generator is a device that uses a heat source to boil liquid water and convert it into its vapor phase, referred to as steam.  Steam generators can be used in cleaning operations to heat piping and/or vessels to a specific temperature in order to improve or increase the efficiency of the chemicals used in the cleaning process.

Steam generators in pipe cleaning applications are used to carry cleaning chemicals through the pipe, and to aid in the distribution of the cleansing chemical throughout the piping system. They are also used to heat chemical tanks and other fluid tanks which may require elevated temperature operations and storage.
