Mr. Hebert has enjoyed a long career in the oil and gas industry for over 50 years. When Jimmy was 16 years of age, he started his first summer job on a production platform. At age 18, Jimmy worked as a roughneck floor hand on an inland barge. Throughout his career, he has worked on jackups, deepwater drilling rigs, production platform, refineries and more. His experience is very broad with his deep roots in the energy industry. In addition to Mr. Hebert’s drilling experience, he worked in gas plants and refineries for Exxon out of Baytown Texas across the country within a 13-year span. Mr. Hebert attended USL while working for GH Stabil Drill as Purchasing Manager for all 9 of their facilities. He also worked on a production platform contracted with a company out of Morgan City to work as a roustabout to help the production operators out of Eugene Island area for a Shell partnership with 2 other energy companies. Jimmy also worked at a Texaco gas plant in Paradie, Louisiana which is now operated by Chevron.
Mr. Hebert attended LSU to get certified in Occupational Safety (one of two colleges to offer this course in the USA).
Mr. Hebert has a vast working knowledge of the oil and gas industry with a large focus on upstream and downstream applications. His trade experience and industry relations are a huge asset to the Tiger organization.
