Career:

Shane Singh born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana joined Tiger Rentals in 2018 after gaining 8 years of diverse experience in the public sector. His notable last position was Technical Officer at the Office of Climate Change, Office of the President where he supported the Government in International negotiations on Green Development in Guyana. Shane has worked with various Environmental and Management agencies where he applied his B.Sc Degree in Environmental Studies. He graduated with honors from the University in Guyana in 2009 and currently manages Tiger Rentals Guyana as its General Manager. His early experience as Operations Manager built a strong understanding of business operations, industry regulations and management responsibilities. He builds efficiency into process improvements and provides visibility of key resources and capabilities. He has also recently been appointed as a Director for a Local Waste Management Company where he is looking to share the skills gathered at Tiger Rentals.

Skills & Experience:

Shane has years of experience in climate change adaptation at the policy level in Guyana. He also has over 10 years’ experience in Environmental management and logistics (local and international). This included ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements, moving persons and equipment safely and managing diverse teams to ensure client satisfaction.
