Mr. Maharaj was appointed Trinidad Operations Manager since March 2021, a position he has held for the last four (4) years.

Outside Interests

Narvin holds the position of Secretary of his offroad club and actively participates in offroad events here in Trinidad, he is also involved in his religious Temple group where he mentors the youth both spiritually and professionally and also pursues various horticultural interests.

Career

Narvin Maharaj joined the Tiger Team having direct responsibility of multiple operational functions including Cargo Carrying Unit Rentals, Tank Cleaning operations and Waste Disposal. He has a diverse business acumen which additionally creates synergy in his contributions to the IBU Team on proposals where he would bring his knowledge attained from his experience in the Service Industry. Having 23 years’ experience working for an International Service Company, Mr. Maharaj has continuously worked with the Operations Team implementing higher standards in Safety and bringing forth culture change within the team and mentoring them to become leaders and supervisors within their core roles and responsibilities.  Narvin has also worked in similar type roles in the oil and gas industry where he was focused on internal and external customer relationship management and efficiency amongst the staff together with cost management.

Skills & Experience

Mr. Maharaj has vast experience in the oil and gas industry in both the onshore and offshore operations. His experience has contributed to the development of the competencies of Analytical thinking and Inclusiveness.  He also has a wealth of mechanical and technical knowledge, a detailed understanding of operations management, offshore logistics and the oil and gas industry.
