Career

Marco Bettencourt is the AFME Operations Manager for Tiger Offshore Rentals. He is responsible for Tiger’s rental fleet and yard operations in Africa, Mediterranean & Europe regions where he also provides sales support as needed. In this role, Mr. Bettencourt oversees all aspects of our Limassol, Cyprus Facility – the hub for all operations in Africa and the Mediterranean – as well as our yards in Africa and Rotterdam. Mr. Bettencourt is a certified NDT Inspector and proven leader in his role as Operations Manager. He has vast knowledge of the oil and gas industry and logistics requirements for offshore shipping. Mr. Bettencourt is driven, diligent and determined to have the best yard in the company. He takes great pride in delivering offshore rental equipment that is well maintained and provides excellent customer service to the AFME region. 

Previously, Mr. Bettencourt served as Country Manger & International Operations Lead in 2020. Mr. Bettencourt began his career at Tiger in 2014 as an East Africa & Mediterranean Leader working with the day-to-day operations in our Pemba, Mozambique facility.
