OVERVIEW
Israel is a country in the Middle East situated in the Southern Levant off the Mediterranean Sea. Israel’s Leviathan basin is a large deepwater natural gas field in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Israel, 29 mi south-west of the Tamar gas field. The gas field is roughly 81 mi west of Haifa in waters 4,900 ft deep in the Levantine basin.
In 2017, Tiger entered the Israel oil and gas market with a CCU contract for a large player in the Mediterranean.
