PORT FOURCHON, LOUISIANA

Port Fourchon is Louisiana’s southernmost oil and gas port, located on the southern tip of Lafourche Parish, on the Gulf of America (GoA). It is a seaport, with substantial petroleum business from offshore oil platforms and drilling rigs. The primary markets in the city are deepwater oil and gas exploration, drilling, and production in the GoA. Port Fourchon currently services over 90% of the Gulf of America’s deepwater oil production. Incidentally, there are over 600 oil platforms within a 40-mile radius of Port Fourchon. 

Since 1997, Tiger’s Golden Meadow/Port Fourchon yard has provided logistics equipment to ship cargo offshore to every major field in the Gulf of America including Eugene Island, Atlantis, and the Tiber.
