Leadership Team Tenure:

Roshan has held various leadership positions including Operations Supervisor, Technical Manager and Innovative Business Unit Manager from his appointment in 2010 to 2015

He was appointed as Operations Manager in 2015 and in 2021 he progressed to the role of Technical Manager.

In 2023 Mr. Manickchand was appointed as Country Manager, Tiger Tanks Trinidad, bringing a new outlook to the leadership of the Trinidad Operations.

Career:

Roshan Manickchand’s career for 16+ years has been specifically focused on the services provided to the offshore sector and he has held the leadership mantle for Tiger Tanks Trinidad  since October 2023, in this capacity he is directly responsible for the Strategic performance of the Company  in the areas of Operations, Business Development, Innovative Business Unit (IBU) , Finance, Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) and Human Resources. 

Mr. Manickchand leads the Company’s local and regional Operations with responsibility for business in Latin America Region, specifically Trinidad, Suriname, French Guiana, and Peru. He is also involved in ongoing expansion efforts in the  regional emerging markets.  He has taken the lead in numerous Drilling projects for CCUs Waste Management and Tank Cleaning for major oil companies such as Shell, Petronas, Kosmos and TOTAL.

Having earned is bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies Mr. Manickchand is known for being emotionally intelligent, his technical competence, his analytical thinking, his leadership and navigation skills and for having a global mindset

As leader of the Trinidad Site, Mr. Manickchand brings to Tiger Tanks Trinidad his expertise in mechanical and technical knowledge and his understanding of operations management, offshore logistics and of the oil and gas industry.   He promotes an organization wide shared vision of empowering the employees at Tiger Tanks Trinidad and promotes a culture of Professionalism and Ethical business practices.  He is focused on a robust strategy that drives the expansion of the Tiger brand in the industry, with his inspirational leadership he brings together an agile, high performing team capable of delivering quality, health, safety and reliable rental equipment.
